Untold Travel Stories

Before I start, I should say I am totally stealing this post idea from the lovely Emma who has a beautiful travel blog called Paper Planes and Caramel Waffles.  I read her post about the trips she hadn’t shared and it got me thinking about all the travel adventures I have been on but haven’t written about on here. There are many reasons for these untold travel stories. I did a lot of travelling in my early twenties when my photography skills were non-existent and with this blog being one of the places I promote my photography it seems like I can’t share them now.

Even more recent trips, I haven’t fully shared, although I do intend to at some point. Sometimes I just find I can’t put a suitable post together. Either the words aren’t there or there are too many thoughts running around my head for me to write anything that makes sense! I am finding this is the case with my recent US road trip. There is just so much to tell I don’t really know where to start!

cool! as you said, some happened a long time ago, for others I don’t have photos, and some are maybe too personal. that’s why I haven’t written about all of my trips too:)

Sometimes I think it’s nice to keep some stories to yourself, but these do sound like some awesome adventures!

Interesting to read these snapshots! My boyfriend’s sister is currently working in Bundaberg for 18 months 🙂 I’d love to hear more about how you spent a month living in a tent!

What a cool list! I agree with Kerri, there are some adventures and stories that it’s nice to keep to ourselves, but also some that, like you said, maybe won’t translate well to the page or you can’t find words to accurately write about. I may steal the concept 🙂
